One of the most stylish women of all time, Diana Vreeland was on the International Best Dressed List's Hall of Fame.

The International Best Dressed List was started by Eleanor Lambert in 1940 to boost lagging clothing sales during World War II.  The list became so popular that it still exists today, and was bequeathed by Ms. Lambert to Vanity Fair. Ultimate Style highlights the greatest style setters during Ms Lambert's tenure, including the  Duchess of Windsor, Millicent Rogers, Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Onassis, Babe Paley, Audrey Hepburn, Diane Von Furstenberg, Diana, Princess of Wales and Chloe Sevigny. The text makes these women come alive, and the photographs are enthralling.
